Deputy Nursery Room Leader – Caversham
We are recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Room Leader position on the outskirts of Reading, with the nursery offering high standards of care and education for children from 2 months to 5 years of age.
They aim to provide a welcoming, stimulating and happy environment in which children learn through play and enhance their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills. The children are cared for in homely family groups. As they grow older and progress through the nursery they join larger groups to increase their social interaction opportunities.
The nursery has been judged ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED.
Job Role: Deputy Nursery Room Leader
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) (All year round)
Salary: £18,015.60 per annum
Job Description: To be responsible for the development of children in the Early Years age range and to provide interesting learning opportunities. You will be monitoring and assessing children’s progress ensuring correct records are maintained.
What you need:
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Have a real passion for delivering the very best childcare possible
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards supporting children through their development
- Good communication both written and verbal
