The role:

Our Early Years Educators work as part of a team to care for and teach our children providing the best start possible. As a key person you will plan, monitor and evaluate activities for the children in line with the EYFS whilst ensuring safeguarding standards are met.

As an Early Years Educator, your role will be responsible for the following:

  • Planning and supervising activities for the children
  • Physical care such as feeding, nappy changing and giving medication
  • Provide a safe learning environment by completing risk assessments of the room and activities.
  • Planning and preparation of the rooms resources for activities
  • To create positive working relationships with parents/guardians
  • To participate in assessments of, and preparing reports on, children’s work and development

Because of the nature of this role, you will need to complete an enhanced criminal record disclosure (DBS check).

The is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) role.


  • Level 3 childcare qualification (please note, health and social care qualifications are not relevant)
