HOURS : 40 hrs per week

SALARY : £18,541 - £21,221 dependant on experience and qualifications

We are looking for a passionate group leader to provide outstanding care and education for children in our lovely Cambridge nursery, who range in ages from 0-5 years

What you’ll do

· Lead and direct the work of Keyworkers and Assistants, providing support and motivation

· Plan a range of activities appropriate to the ages and developmental stages of the children you are caring for

· Create enriched learning opportunities for children in line with EYFS

· Positively promote the welfare of the children in our care

· Share and support the strong ethos of our Nursery and foster positive relations with parents/carers

· Keep chidrens’ development records and produce Education and Care Plans when required

About you

· A genuine desire to make a significant contribution from day one

· Adaptable to meet the variable needs of the children and the Nursery.

· Self-motivated to learn and develop

· Friendly, flexible, reliable and committed

· Supportive Team player and effective communicator (both verbally and in writing)

· Qualified NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent·
