Job Summary

BABY ROOM NURSERY WORKER WANTED

We are looking for an experienced Level 3 or above Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team in Skegness in January 2018. The position is for 35 hours per week working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30 and 6pm. We are open 51 weeks per year and closed Bank Holidays.

We are looking for someone that is self motivated with lots of creative ideas and enthusiasm to provide activities and experiences for young children. We are seeking a practitioner who is hard working, a good team player and willing to learn. You must have a good knowledge of the EYFS to be able to plan for your key children, observe and assess their development and extend their learning. Safeguarding training will be provided, First Aid and Food Safety will be required.

The position is within our baby room for children aged 1 to 2 years so a lot of patience, calm and caring attitudes and providing a nurturing environment is essential. The children enjoy messy time, outside play, physical activities and song time. This room is very active and provides the children with stimulating opportunities throughout the day. It is also important that you are friendly and open with parents as a strong parent relationship is vital.

Closing date for applicants is Friday 15th December. You must email the nursery for an application form, this will need to be printed off and completed in handwriting. Interviews will be the following week.

The candidate will need 2 references and a enhanced DBS check before employment will commence.
